Chocolate Bundt Cake Cake 1 chocolate fudge cake mix (15.25 oz) 1 box instant chocolate pudding (3.9 oz) 16 ounce container sour cream 3 eggs 1/3 cup canola oil ½ cup water Frosting ¼ cup butter at room temperature ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder 2 cups powdered sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla ¼ cup heavy cream Instructions for Cake Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 10 inch bundt pan with shortening and lightly dust with flour. Set aside. Combine all cake ingredients and mix on low for about 30 seconds until combined and then on medium speed for 1-2 minutes until smooth. Pour in prepared bundt pan and bake for 55-60 minute until cake is set. Allow cake to cool for 10 minutes and then invert the pan onto a cake plate. Cool completely before frosting the cake. Frosting On low speed beat the butter, cocoa powder and powdered sugar until combined, add in vanilla and heavy cream and beat on medium speed for 1-2 minutes until creamy, scraping the sides of the bowl when necessary. This is not a glazed frosting that drizzles on the cake. It is a traditional frosting. I frosted the top going down into the middle and frosted about halfway down around the cake. If you love chocolate, you will love this cake.
