These snacks are easy to make ahead of time, and then once they're done you can snack on them all day. Plus, with only three ingredients, they could not be easier. Makes 50 Ingredients- 1 pound spicy pork sausage, such as Jimmy Dean
- 10 ounces Cheddar cheese, grated
- 3 cups baking mix, such as Bisquick, or self-rising flour
- Kosher salt and pepper
Directions- Preheat the oven to 375° F.
- Using a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, combine the sausage, cheese, and baking mix and beat on low speed until blended. Add pepper to taste. Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until browned, about 20 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels, sprinkle with salt and serve hot, warm or at room temperature.
