Since I've been on Facebook I've noticed the adverts, so I think you are right.

They do seem to come and go.

Obviously a hiccup in the system, or do they call it a bug?

Greed comes in many forms - excessive adverts are just one of them.

The instructions I wrote for that appear on the previous page, Judith, but I'll copy them below. I'm so sorry you haven't been feeling well.
Don't despair. There is an email function, but I haven't been able to test it out yet. For each Board, for example, Word Games, under 'Actions' is a Notification Options selection that if you click on it, you can select when you want to be notified either on the forum or by email when certain actions are taken on that Board.
That's to set up email notifications for a Board, be it Games, Recipes, or whatever.
Now, each individual game on the Board 'Word Games' is known as a 'Thread'. For each Thread, such as this one, First-last-start, when you click on 'Actions', you have the option to select 'Bookmark'. I presume that's to bookmark that Game as one for which you want to be notified by email when something happens. I haven't been able to test it out yet, but if you will set up Notifications for the Games board, and then Bookmark which games you want emails for, then we can check it out.
In other words, you must first allow notifications for the Word Games Board, and then for each of the Word Games that you want notifications by email for.

Reach for the notification button Judith. I find it simpler to just visit the site (bookmarked) and go through the games like that?

That's one way for sure, Judith, by clicking on Notifications (when there have been postings), or by setting up emails per the instructions above. When you do that you'll receive a notification such as the one below, by email.

Looks like I will have to get Christopher to do it for me, I can't even work Whatsapp, my ex boyfriend wants to video chat we have known each other since we were 16 and in college.

Emails must first be allowed for by Board, Judith, in this case, Games. Then, for each different Game that you want email notification, you Bookmark it.

This sounds hard to do, I will just have to try and remember to come on here, not easy these days. Hope you are both well, and enjoying life.

Every day I could eat pastry and cake but I know I can't and neither should you Dave.

Each day I also fancy pastry, ice cream or both, but dare not indulge very day.

Yes, I like I cream to Mark, although I rarely have it. I tend to go for the sugar-free Ice-poles. I wish someone would come up with a healthy pastry alternative
